unfinished 11/18

When we locked eyes,
My whole body froze. Paralyzed.
Her lips parted and electricity struck my body attempting to resuscitate my inner G.
Their words sent jolts of magic through my soul and I never felt more alive.
When her tongue spoke melodies that my ears had never heard,
our bodies naturally swayed together in sync.
She was foreign and familiar simultaneously.
When we danced
We fused and the laws of gravity succumbed to the laws of attraction.
Did I know her?
Had we done this dance before?

Her aroma sparked memories of waves crashing over rocks on the shoreline,
and her kiss was the ocean's mist landing on my cheek.
Then on my lips.
Then on my neck.
Frozen. I am engulfed in the early morning tide...
Thrashing toward the comfort of normalcy.
While she tries to pull me out to the unexplored sea.
